O'Daniel can't get enough of Clemson

Good Counsel (MD) linebacker Dorian O'Daniel wants to "rack up as many experiences as he can" before he begins his collegiate career at Clemson.

With his senior season wrapped up and another conference championship to add to his name, Good Counsel (MD) Dorian O'Daniel finally had a free weekend to head down to his future home in Clemson with his mom and sister.

"We drove down Saturday at 5am and got there around 11am," said Dorian, who is getting accustomed to the commute. "the ride down there is becoming less of a hassle. I am getting used to the drive, it's not that bad."

Overall, it was a nice family trip he said, despite the loss and the cold front. "My sister had never been there, so it was fun, but if they would have won it would have been a big plus..and it was frigid. I didn't know South Carolina got that cold, but I am used to it from being up here."

This was not an official visit for Dorian. He will be taking his official to Clemson in January, but regardless, he did get to enjoy the full game-day experience.

"I met with the recruits and they took us on the sidelines up to the kickoff. I want to rack up as many experiences as I can there before I am down there." Dorian rubbed elbows with several recruits including five-star defensive tackle Montravius Adams and highly-touted linebacker Ebenezer Ogundeko out of New York.

"Montravius and I talked, he is quiet guy, but very cool, and Ebenezer and I had a great conversation about Clemson. I am trying to get him down there, and he seemed to like it."

One thing Dorian likes about Clemson is the amount of youth on the roster.

"They have a young team, and I am not too far away in age from the guys, so it will be a great experience."

At this time, Dorian has no other school trips on the schedule other than the January official visit to Clemson. He reiterated that he remains 100-percent committed to the Tigers.

Dorian will be playing in the Army Game with teammate Kendall Fuller."I will take off this week and it's back to training!"

Stay tuned.
