Tracking former Blue Devils playing their professional ball overseas

On Friday, Jess Foley and the Townsville Fire used a strong second half to beat the Canberra Capitals 68-62.  Jess had 9 points and 6 rebounds in 32 minutes.  Kayla Standish had 15 points and Jessica Adair had 12 points.  In the loss, ex-Georgia Tech player Brigette Ardossi had 12 points and 8 rebounds.  Here is the box score.

Shavlik Randolph and the Foshan Lions faced the Bayi Rockets and fought hard before falling 100-92.  Shavlik had a monster game with 39 points and 14 rebounds.  In the win, ex-NBA player Wang Zhizhi had 22 points and 8 rebounds.

David McClure and Neptunas continued a good run through their domestic competition as they used a fourth quarter rally to power past his old team Nevezis 74-67.  David had 5 points and 14 rebounds in 38 minutes.  Laurynas Mikalauskas had 15 points and 14 rebounds.  Here is the box score. http://www.lkl.lt/en/game/20121221/nevezis-neptunas/ On Saturday, Jess Foley and the Townsville Fire had a second game in a row and lost 86-71 to the Sydney University Flames.  Jess had 13 points in 33 minutes.  Nicole Romeo had 12 points and Jessica Adair had 10 points and 7 rebounds.  Ex-Rutgers player April Sykes had 22 points in the win.  Here is the box score.

  Krystal Thomas and Jiangsu faced Heilongjiang and used a good start to maintain a lead for the 93-88 win.  Krystal had a monster game with 39 points and 20 rebounds as she hit 11 of 12 free throws.  Here is the box score.

  Jasmine Thomas and Chevakata beat Spartak Noginsk 71-64.  Jasmine had 4 points in 30 minutes and Glory Johnson had 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Here is the box score.

  Chante Black and Samsun were trying break out of a tough run against Tarsus, but they fell again 77-58.  Chante had 14 points and 10 rebounds after playing all 40 minutes.  Megan Frazee had 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.  In the win, ex-Florida player DeLisha Milton-Jones had 24 points and ex-Rutgers player Michelle Campbell, also known as Melisa Can in Turkey, had 16 points and 9 rebounds.  Here is the box score.

  DeMarcus Nelson and Red Star Belgrade continued to play well in the Adriatic League as they beat Zadar of Croatia 88-79.  DeMarcus had 9 points and 6 assists in 25 minutes.  In the loss, ex-Akron player Romeo Travis had 25 points and 11 rebounds.  Here is the box score.

  In France, Shelden Williams and Chalon were involved in a wild game with Limoges as each team took control of two quarters.  Fortunately for them, taking the first and fourth quarters was enough for an 83-77 win.  Shelden had 11 points and 5 rebounds in 33 minutes.  Blake Schilb had 22 points and 7 assists and Cedrick Banks had 20 points.  In the loss, ex-Notre Dame player Kyle McAlarney had 15 points and ex-Washington player Jon Brockman had 10 points.  Here is the box score.

  On Sunday, Shavlik Randolph and the Foshan Lions faced the Shanghai Sharks and continued a good run with a 95-86 win.  Shavlik had 24 points and 18 rebounds and Rashad McCants had 24 points.  In the loss, Gilbert Arenas had 24 points and 6 rebounds and ex-Indiana player D.J. White had 19 points and 14 rebounds.

  Daniel Ewing and Besiktas went to Olin Ederne and won 83-67.  Daniel had 11 points in 26 minutes.  Curtis Jerrells had 15 points and Patrick Christopher had 11 points.  In the loss, ex-Radford player Artsiom Parakhouski had 10 points.  Here is the box score.

  Jon Scheyer and Gran Canaria continued their strong run in the league with an 83-74 win at Valladolid.  Jon had 7 points in 21 minutes off the bench.  Eulis Baez had 18 points and 11 rebounds, Ryan Toolson had 18 points, and Brad Newley had 13 points.  In the loss, ex-Ohio State player Othello Hunter had 20 points and 11 rebounds and ex-Belmont player Alex Renfro had 13 points.  Here is the box score.

  Marty Pocius missed out as Real Madrid beat Lagun Aro 85-71.  Sergio Llull had 24 points, Sergio Rodriguez had 18 points, Nikola Mirotic had 13 points, and Dontaye Draper had 11 points.  In the loss, ex-Central Florida player Jermaine Taylor had 16 points and ex-Maryland player Ekene Ibekwe had 11 points and 7 rebounds.  Here is the box score.
