Michael Snaer's 3-point shot as time expired lifted Florida State to a come-from-behind 60-57 win over Clemson Thursday night.

Snaer's winning shot gave the Seminoles their only lead of the second half and their first since going up 16-13 early in the game.

It was Snaer's third game-winning 3-pointer in the past two seasons. He had game-winners last season at Duke and Virginia Tech.

Clemson led by as many as 12 early in the second half and was still ahead 44-34 on a Devin Booker jumper midway through the final half before the Seminoles began to chip away.

Florida State's Devon Bookert drained a 3-point basket from near the top of the key that tied the game at 57 with 44 seconds left and the Seminoles got the ball back with eight seconds remaining after a shot clock violation on Clemson, which couldn't get a shot off in time.

Snaer took the inbounds pass and dribbled down court, pulling the trigger on the game-winner from virtually the same spot that both of his decisive shots were launched a year ago from just right of the free throw circle.

Florida State (11-7, 3-2) was led by Kiel Turpin's career-high 16 points, all in the second half. Snaer and Bookert each finished with 11 points and Okaro White added 10.

K.J. McDaniels and Booker led Clemson with 15 points each. McDaniels scored eight straight points to ignite a 16-0 run late in the first half that gave the Tigers a 29-16 lead on their way to a 29-21 halftime advantage.

Clemson shot 40.7 percent (22 of 54) and had a 34-23 rebound advantage, but couldn't overcome the Seminoles' free throw accuracy. Florida State converted 18 of 20 tries with Turpin good on eight of nine.

The Seminoles were looking to rebound from their poorest offensive showing in more than three decades, managing just 36 points in a 20-point drubbing last Saturday at Virginia. Florida State made just one of 15 shots from 3-point distance and committed 18 costly turnovers in Charlottesville, Va.

For a while it looked like it would be another bleak night offensively, but Bookert played most of the second half and steadied the offense. The freshman didn't miss a shot, hitting all six free throws and both field goal tries while committing just one turnover.

Florida State's shooting woes continued early against Clemson as the Seminoles shot a chilly 32 percent in the opening half and made just one of six 3-point shots.

They were without the services of Terrance Shannon, the team's top rebounder, who suffered a potentially season-ending neck sprain in the loss to the Cavaliers. Shannon was on the Seminole bench in street clothes and a neck brace.

It was the second time in less than three weeks the two teams played. Florida State defeated Clemson 71-66 on Jan. 5 on the Tigers' home floor.

The Seminoles visit No. 25 Miami on Sunday before returning home for a second meeting this month with Maryland on Wednesday.

Clemson hosts Virginia Tech on Sunday.
