Duke head coach David Cutcliffe has filled the position of running backs coach with Re’quan Boyette.

After losing assistant coach Matt Lubick to Oregon just before signing day, the Blue Devils have opted to fill the void by staying in-house.

Head coach David Cutcliffe has promoted former Blue Devil running back Re’quan Boyette, who worked as a graduate assistant on staff last season.

Boyette graduated from Duke following the 2009 season, having rushed for more than 1,200 yards in his four year career. He was the team's top rusher in both 2006 and 2007. He also caught 47 passes for just under 300 yards during his career.

This is the second coaching change made in the offseason after losing Lubick to Eugene and assistant coach Ron Middleton to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
