Lindsey Harding and Galatasaray had Game 3 of the finals against Fenerbahce in front of the home fans. It was another close game that went down to the wire before they fell 71-70 to give away the homecourt advantage they had earned in Game 1, forcing them to win the next two games to win the title. Lindsey had 12 points and 6 assists in 38 minutes. Sancho Lyttle had 19 points and 7 rebounds and Ann Wauters had 16 points. Cappie Pondexter finally came alive in the series in this win, as she was shuffled back into the lineup and ended up hitting the game winning basket after finishing with 19 points. In an update of another player who started his career at Duke but finished it at another school, Eric Boateng has completed his season in Germany with Braunschweig. Eric settled into a progressively bigger role with the team as the season progressed and led his team in rebounding. The team needed to rally late to make sure that it steered clear of being relegated from the league, including winning a key game while the star of the team, Dennis Schroder, had left to participate in the Nike Hoop Summit. The EuroChallenge finished up on Sunday starting with the game for third place between Germany's Oldenburg and France's Gravelines with the Germans prevailing 84-76. In the win, ex-Georgia Southern player Julius Jenkins had 22 points, ex-UNC Greensboro player Ronnie Burrell had 14 points, ex-Penn player Adam Chubb had 12 points and 8 rebounds, and ex-Portland player Robin Smeulders had 11 points.
