Rahming becomes the 10th player to commit to Duke from the class of 2015. He recently impressed the Scout.com national recruiting team during a 7on7 camp at Georiga.
"This kid is a slot receiver and he is super quick and his hands were consistent Friday," said Scout.com's Chad Simmons. "It was hard for any defense to slow him down, much less stop him."
Earlier this month the 5-foot-10, 165 pound receiver visited Durham and came away knowing where he'd eventually commit.
"It was the place where I felt the most comfortable. I loved my visit to Duke and when I left I told everyone that Duke was my leader. From that point I was always comparing other schools to them, and then I got to the point where I realized that I was waiting for no reason."
And so Rahming called Coach Faris last night to inform him of his commitment.
"He was really fired up about everything and that I decided to pull the trigger."
Rahming's game begins with speed and he's got a 4.34 stopwatch forty time on the books and a laser timed 4.39 as well. That will play well in the Duke offense.
"I can play in the slot, but that's what I liked about Duke...they aren't limiting me to just a slot receiver. They are telling me that I can move all over, inside and return kicks. It's a great fit."
