3. Anthony Boone matched his career high with four touchdown passes against Elon last Saturday. The total is tied for the third most in a game in program history. Steve Slayden owns the mark with six touchdown passes against Georgia Tech on Oct. 31, 1987.

4. True freshman Shaun Wilson made his Duke debut last Saturday against Elon, rushing for 71 yards on just six carries. The Charlotte, N.C., product aver- aged 11.83 yards per rush in his initial collegiate action. All of the yards came in the second half.

5. Redshirt junior punter Will Monday enters this week as the ACC’s active leader in career punting aver- age (43.76) and checks in eighth in career punting average among league kickers.

6. Duke held Elon to 190 passing yards during last Saturday’s season opener. It is the sixth time in the last 15 games a foe has been held to under 200 aerial yards. N.C. Central (103), Memphis (148), Georgia Tech (125), Navy (89), Wake Forest (124) and Leon (190) have all been held under the 200- yard plateau.
