Thursday NBA Wrap Up

Posted Oct 17, 2003

The NBA Preseason continued Thursday night for a pair of former Blue Devils, while many others watched from the sidelines.

Corey Maggette: started for the Clippers, logging 26 minutes while posting 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists in a 96-93 loss to the Suns.

Elton Brand: didn’t play due to a minor ankle injury that could sideline him for the next three to five days.

Carlos Boozer: continues to solidify himself as the Cavaliers’ starting power forward. He logged 34 minutes, scoring seven points (3-of-11 from the field) while grabbing a game high 16 rebounds as Cleveland lost 86-78 to Los Angeles.
