After opening the season on the road, the Peoria Lions played their sixth game of the season, and first at home on Friday night. Once again it was future Blue Devil Shaun Livingston once again helped his team to the victory with 16 points, six rebounds, and six assists in limited action.

The Lions, who had played three nationally rated opponents in the first five contests, were never threatened by Notre Dame, who fell behind early and allowed the second string to see a lot of action for Peoria in the easy 91-48 victory.

With the victory, Peoria is now 6-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Mid-State Six Conference. They also are sporting a 35 game win streak.

The Lions led 62-20 when Central's starters took the bench for good at the 2:36 mark of the third quarter.
