The Lions, who had played three nationally rated opponents in the first five contests, were never threatened by Notre Dame, who fell behind early and allowed the second string to see a lot of action for Peoria in the easy 91-48 victory.
With the victory, Peoria is now 6-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Mid-State Six Conference. They also are sporting a 35 game win streak.
The Lions led 62-20 when Central's starters took the bench for good at the 2:36 mark of the third quarter.
