Johnson Doubtful For Clemson

Posted Jan 3, 2004

Reserve post player will likely be sidelined for the Duke-Clemson game on Saturday.

Reserve center Patrick Johnson suffered a hyperextended knee in practice upon returning from the holiday break. The injury forced him to miss the Davidson game on December 29th, and is likely to remain sidelined for the Duke-Clemson game Saturday January 3.

The junior walk-on averaged 0.2 points per game in nine minutes of action while appearing in five contests as a sophomore after joining the team in October of 2002. So far this season the 6-foot-9 reserve has contributed 0.8 points per game in four appearances.
