The senior duo of J.J. Redick and Shelden Williams represented Duke in big way on Wednesday night at the 2006 NBA Draft. Redick, the 2006 National Player of the Year, went 11th overall. Williams, the two time ACC Defensive Player of the Year, was selected fifth.

Shelden Williams, the two time ACC Defensive Player of the Year, was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with the fifth overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.

Williams was a first team All-American for the Blue Devils as a senior. He averaged 18.8 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 3.8 blocks per game.

Based on the NBA's Rookie Salary Scale, the fifth overall pick is guaranteed roughly $7.65MM over the first three seasons.

Meanwhile, just six picks later, the Blue Devils were once again represented as the Orlando Magic selected J.J. Redick.

Named the National Player of the Year for the past two seasons, Redick averaged 26.8 points per game for the Blue Devils as a senior.

Based on the NBA's Rookie Salary Scale, the fifth overall pick is guaranteed roughly $4.82MM over the first three seasons.
