The final ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll was released on Sunday afternoon after the field for the NCAA Tournament was announced.

And, for the first time in more than a decade, the final poll didn't include Duke. An opening round loss to North Carolina State knocked the Blue Devils to the top of the "Others Receiving Votes" category with 70. Southern California was 25th with 79 total votes.

Conference runner-up Virginia also fell from the rankings after losing to the Wolfpack in the second round.

This marks just the third time since the 1983-1984 season that Duke has failed to finish among the nation's top 25 teams. Duke managed to finish ranked no lower than 8th in the AP Poll and no lower than 9th in the Coaches' Poll every year since the 1996-1997 season.
