When he committed to Duke on March 31st, Nigel Nicholas credited former Scout five star defensive tackle Vince Oghobaase with the recruiting assist.
"He really helped me see this program is on the rise. They were down the last few years, but they were also young. Everyone's got that experience they needed to have a great season."
Apparently Oghobaase's foresight coupled with that of the coaching staff was good enough to pick up one of Georgia's best as Nicholas has been rated as the state's 57th overall prospect. Without the benefit of his film being reviewed, Nicholas appears to be a strong candidate for three star status - but remains locked in at two star until said film is reviewed.
Nicholas, who played tight end and defensive end for Ridgeland High in Rossville, Ga., projects as a pass rushing defensive end for Duke.
