DURHAM, N.C. - Former Duke standout and member of the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers Daniel Ewing signed a two year contract to play for Khimki, a professional team in Russia that will compete in this season's ULEB Cup.

Ewing was released by the Clippers on June 29 after spending two seasons on the roster. Ewing saw action in 127 games for the Clippers, including eight starts, and averaged 3.4 points, 1.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds in his two seasons there.

At Duke, Ewing averaged 11.6 points per game in his career, including 15.3 as a senior in 2004-05. He helped Duke to a Final Four appearance in 2004, four Sweet 16 appearances and three ACC Championships. Ewing was usually at his best during the ACC Tournament, averaging 20.7 points per game as a sophomore en route to earning MVP honors and also averaged 18.3 points per game in the tournament as a junior.

Ewing was selected with the 32nd overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft (second round) by the Clippers.
