Sources indicate that Kyle Griswould
, a receiver prospect from Shaw High School in Columbus, Ga., has offered a verbal pledge to Cutcliffe as of Monday.
The three star prospect, rated as the nation's 106th best wideout, chose Duke over offers from Troy, Louisville, Middle Tennessee, and others.
The Blue Devil coaching staff may have had a helping hand in this commitment in the form of fellow future Dukie Brandon Putnam who heavily recruited Griswould at every turn. Most notable was the conversation the two had after the season opening victory over James Madison.
"I talked to Brandon Putnam (Duke commitment) after the game," said the newest commit. "After I shook his hand he told me that I needed to go ahead and commit to Duke. He said that they really wanted me there."

Most analysts believed that a strong start from head coach David Cutcliffe's program would trigger more commitments from highly rated players. On Monday night that theory was proved true.
