West Coast WR Picks Duke

Blair Holliday

Blair Holliday - a wide receiver prospect out of California has picked Duke over a handful of other offers.

"I have committed to Duke," said West Lake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian High standout Blair Holliday in a text to Scout.com. "I'm a Blue Devil."

Holliday, rated as a two star prospect pending film review, chose Duke over offers from Colorado State, San Diego State, Boise State, and Northern Arizona.

He visited Duke the weekend of July 24th and on that visit was offered a scholarship which he accepted on Tuesday.

What does Holliday (6'3, 186, 4.52) bring to the field? "I'm a playmaker. I'm going to catch the ball when it comes my way," he said. "No corner can stop me and you can't be stopped as long as you go into each game with that mentality."

In 2009, Holliday had 48 receptions for 950 yards and 10 TDs.

Stay tuned for more from Holliday including a discussion on his decision making process.
