As a junior Williams spent much of his time sharing the ball in a triple-option offense, carrying 57 times for 487 yards and seven touchdowns. He also caught six passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he had 21 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and an interception.
